    (WIP) Chong's Ultimate Post-Tempest Gunslinger Guide!

    So, you have decided to create a Gunslinger, but you don't know where to find an up-to-date guide! Here's one.
    *This guide is post Tempest. Don't find it weird when I say that 3rd job is at 60 level.
    *All advancement quests have a red tag in front.

    Introduction

    The gunslinger is one of the sub-classes of the Pirate. They possess great mobility, accuracy and attack range.
    Their primary weapon is the Gun.
    Their secondary weapon is the Falcon Eye (telescope).

    Thanks to Max (orange mushroom) for the picture.

    Their main AP is DEX. After Tempest, you won't need to add into STR anymore. Auto-assign automatically dumps all your AP into the primary stat. After reaching a base DEX of 999, it automatically puts the stats into STR. This is because after Tempest, all equipment do not need secondary stats anymore. Yippee!

    Pros:

    • They have infinite bullet at 2nd job, which makes it less costly.
    • Wings is a good mobility skill.
    • Have a high HPS.

    Cons:

    • Die easily due to low defense and low HP
    • Pot-consuming
    • Rarely anyone sells bullets nowadays.


    2. Level 1-10: The Birth of A Gunslinger
    2.1 Job Advancement
    At level 5, you will receive a quest from Mai.

    Accept it. Then this will pop up.

    This is where you choose your job. It is vital that YOU DO NOT CHOOSE THE WRONG ONE!
    Choose the last option.

    Just finish all the Maple Island quests. You must be familiar with it.


    3. Level 10-30: The First Steps
    3.1 Job Advancement
    Once you reach level 10, you will receive a quest with a red tag in front.
    Mai will take you to see Kyrin.
    After a long dialogue, you will become a Pirate.
    Take the second auto-assign button. The first one is for Vipers, the second one is for Corsairs.

    Explanation: 1 point into your primary attacking skill. 1 point for Dash for basic mobility. Bullet Time for the extra accuracy. Shadow Hearts for the Critical Rate (awesome). Then, finish off your attacking skill. Point dump into Somersault Kick, you're not gonna use it anyway.

    4. Level 30-60: The Gunslinger
    4.1 Job Advancement
    At level 30, you will receive a quest with a red tag in front remotely.
    Accept it, and go back to see Kyrin.
    She will give you two choices. Choose the second one to be a Gunslinger.
    She will take you to a hidden map with Octopirates. Kill them and obtain 30 Dark Marbles.
    After you have finished collecting, go back to Kyrin and she will make you a Gunslinger.

    Explanation: 1 point into both your primary attack skills. Next for Physical Training because I find the extra points very helpful. Next, 3 points for Infinity Blast and Gun Booster. 1 minute of both skill is more than enough at lower levels. Max Wings for mobility. Recoil Shot for double jump. Mastery for accuracy. Triple Shot for bossing uses. Finally, finish off Magnum Shot.

    5. Level 60-100: The Adolescence of a Gunslinger
    5.1 Job Advancement
    Once reaching
    level 60 a quest will appear on the left of your screen.
    Kyrin will ask you to talk to Pedro(not Pedo)in the Instructors' Home in El Nath. He will ask you to obtain a Black Charm.
    Next you will need to go to [El Nath: Sharp Cliff I] and enter [Hidden Street: Holy Ground at the Snowfield]. It is located at the crystal on the bottom.
    Once inside,"The Path of the Glittering Crystal". Walk until the end of the path and enter the portal to defeat the wiseman's dark side to obtain the Black Charm.
    Now return to Pedro and give him the black charm in return for your new job!

    6. Level 100-200: Glory of the Corsair
    6.1 Job Advancement
    Kongrachuleshuns! You have reached Level 100. You will receive a quest remotely with a red tag in front. It's Kyrin again. She wants you to go find Samuel
    to finish your training. You can find him in the top right section of the Birk map. The entrance looks like a wooden door with a face. Once you enter, talk to Samuel. He will need you to kill Manon and Griffey . Defeat them and obtain the charms. Once you have both, go back to Samuel. He will advance you to the 4th job. Hurray!

    When attacked, you have a chance to increase your attack damage. The higher the skill level, the longer the buff. Pirate's Revenge can only proc once every 50 seconds. 10 -

    As a dignified captain, increase gun mastery by 70% and have a 100% chance to add a 70% damage explosion with each attack. 30 Gun Mastery Lv. 10

    Explanation: 1 point to all your attacking skills. I want to have high attacks at earlier levels, so I maxed out all buff skills early. Hero's Will is maxed later because you won't need it so fast. Max Rapid Fire and Headshot for bossing. Fusillade and Battleship Nautilus for mobbing. Finally, max off Maple Warrior. With all those SP left, you can add into whatever skill you think that's useful but haven't maxed yet.

    7. Hyper Skills - The Extension of the Corsair
    As of Tempest, Corsair's have their Hyper Skills.

    Hyper Movement: Passively increase your speed by 10. [Level Req. 152]

    Hyper Accuracy: Passively increase your accuracy by 20%. [Level Req. 158]

    Hyper Critical Rate: Passively increase your critical rate by 10%. [Level Req. 198]
