Welcome to Korean maplestory!

You may have questions like... Why choose a fire poison magician? Aren't those botters? Those are WEAK! so why would I waste time building upon them?

PROS:
Best job for Damage over time (DoT)
Ranked #4 in cheapest-to-own class
Tied for #1 KSers at 4th job
Not that many in KMS so you can show off
Doesn't require too much funding
Awesome Ultimate
You can explode your poison mist (what's better than that?)
You are considered the boss class if a UA.
Best magician class post JUMP!

CONS:
They don't have too many skills
No main bossing skill
Training can get boring at times.
Can get expensive at times
You will get defamed for KSing like a boss
Their Ultimate has a cooldown

The beginning steps:

SP Builds
Build A Training:
Level 8: 1 energy bolt (1)

Level 28: 3 Max MP Recovery (10)
Level 29: 3 Energy Bolt (4)
Level 30: 3 Energy Bolt (7)

Reasoning: Your standard magician build... F/p and I/l mages follow this build

Build B Bossing:
Level 8: 1 energy bolt (1)
Level 9: 2 Energy Bolt (3) 1 Magic Claw (1)
Level 10: 3 Energy Bolt (6)
Level 11: 3 Energy Bolt (9)

Level 28: 3 Max MP Recovery (10)
Level 29: 3 Magic Claw (4)
Level 30: 3 Magic Claw (7)

Reasoning: This Guide is not recommended because no one bosses at 1st job... except you plan on spam Faust, but you couldn't do that until level 25+. Only do this if you do a Poison Wizard (but I did Build A for my poison wizard)

Level 8-30 Training Guide
Training Guide

Level 8-15:
Ellinia quests - You want to do this all the way until level 30 because great source of exp/pots/eqps
Slimes
Blue Ribbon Pigs - Huge spawn and good exp at these levels
Yellow Starfish

Level 15-20:
Ellinia quests
Red Starfish
Mushmom - During Midnight ban, it's GREAT to train on mushmoms until level 30 (do this with the bossing build)

Level 20-25:
Ellinia quests
Streetlights - at Edelstein Nice map, good exp, but far from victoria
Jelly fish

Level 25-30:
Ellinia quests
Fire Boars - Alright spawn probably the best choice to go to at these levels though
Yellow Blimps
(Zombie) (blue) mushmom

Congratulations on reaching Level 30! Finally you get fire and poison skills

Level 30-70 Training Guide

Training Guide
Level 30-35:
Mushking Quests - EXCELLENT Exp; can get you to level 35+ in less than an hour
Helemet Pepes
Rocky imps at Edelstein

Level 36-40:
King Pepe solo - Most people do this until level 50 now because it's great boss exp and easy to kill
Kerning Square quests - Many people don't like the quests and think it's a waste, but I used to do them 40~45 and it gets me at least 3 levels in ~60 mins. Earings are OK for non funders.
Jr. Cellions

Level 41-50:
King Pepe solo
CDs - Great to be here if you can find your own map
Teddies

Level 51-60:
Chyrse - Other people disagree with me here again, but I do these quests all the time even with loot lag because I can get up to 4 levels in an hour! (59-64)
Trojans - Not as good as they used to be but this is an alternative to LPQ and chyrse
Robos
LPQ
Desert Bunnies

Level 61-70:
Sand Rats - Amazing exp, amazing map, and you can hit them at early 60s!
Robos
LPQ
Iron Mutaes - Good to come here from level 65-70
Royal Cactus - Alternative to sand rats if you can't find a map
Mateons - This was a reccomendation from someone, however, I have never been here myself.

Level 119: Seal +2 (18) FPA +1 (10)
Level 120: Seal +2 (20) Magic Booster +1 (13)

Reasoning: The DoT build which not many people follow, but this build is for those who like training in huge maps at early levels. Everything is necessary to max except magic booster. The speed only changes from 1 -> 2 at level 11, rest is only time.

End Result: Partial Resistance (MAX) Elemental Amplification (MAX) Explosion (MAX) Poison Mist (MAX) Seal (MAX) Magic Booster (13) FPA (MAX) Teleport Mastery (MAX) Elemental Reset (MAX) Magic Mastery (MAX)

Reasoning: Same build as above except this time, you max explosion first rather than Poison. This build is mainly for small platform maps as explosion is a huge AoE.

71-120 Training Guide
Training Guide
Level 71-80:
C-2 Roids - This is a map especially for those choosing the poison build
Iron Mutaes - OK to stay here until level 75, although better to go to roids
Cart Bears at Edelstein Mine - I absolutely do NOT reccomend this, but again, someone reccomended this
PPQ
OPQ

Level 81-90:
C-2 Roids
Homunculus - Not must exp difference from C-2 but still alright
PPQ
OPQ

Level 91-100:
Homunculus
Cpts & Krus - If you can do the Lie detector, then your explosion can hit 3 platforms at once!
Ellin Forest Quests
OPQ
MPQ
Level 101-120:
Prehistoric boars (These give 3k exp each, drop eqps so often, and hwabis drop like 1/100)
Dual Ghost Pirates - Huge map, huge spawn, poison whole thing, and use explosion
Master Death Teddies - Angelic Blessing Ring
Any PQ

189: 3 Ifrit (19)
190: 3 Ifrit (22)
191: 3 Ifrit (25)
192: 3 Ifrit (28)
193: 2 Ifrit (30) 1 Meteor Shower (2)
194: 3 Meteor Shower (5)
195: 3 Meteor Shower (8)
196: 3 Meteor Shower (11)
197: 3 Meteor Shower (14)
198: 3 Meteor Shower (17)
199: 3 Meteor Shower (20)
200: 3 Meteor Shower (23)

End Result: Everything but Meteor Shower Maxed.
Reasoning: It's always nice to get all your active skills first to explore and get full experience. Paralyze first for damage since this is your main skill, then buff mastery, followed by arcane aim for damage boost, mist eruption for your second training move, Big Bang for damage and AoE, Infinity for stance, Maple Warrior for stats, ifrit for boss help, and meteor shower is not maxed because it has the least damage and the cool down... it's just not worth it.

4th Job Training

For all your levels, training really isn't all good... What's really reccomended is pqing, bossing, MP (later on), mini dungeons (Von Leon 120~130) (Neo City 125~135) (Timeless Temple 140~160).

The Guide is now COMPLETE!

Like it doesn't matter if you go fire or poison for 2nd job. Cause like at 3rd jon u wud have explosion. But what I suggest is you Mx both and leave out slow. That was I did for my fp. Which is my main also currently. And like I am using a fire staff 128 ma.

Shouldn't you max poison breath instead of fire arrow, because Poison breath is more useful. Poison breath is a mob attack, and the DoT is an added bonus. FIre arrow is only useful if you want to Monster Park (as poison breath has no effect on the Sleepywood maps), but even then just 1 point is fine.
