    Talking Anime or Manga?

Is anyone a fan of both :P? After finishing SAO (lost count of how many times I watched it), I read the rest of the SAO Manga and they were so much fun to read. Also I watched Fairy Tail... and damn :P it was so funny and relaxing to watch. However after they ended the season, I got impatient and read the manga :P. So watching all the newer episodes, It gave me a thought that Mangas are better than anime :D. Does anyone disagree?

Nop its True Mangas are better then Animes
Because not all the Animes are supervised by the creator of the manga from where they came
As an example will will take Full Metal Alchemist who has never followed the manga
(Shingeki No Kyojin is an exeption)

But they fixed it with Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood.
And I agree manga are better since anime loses the meaning the creator meant

I absolutely agree, Anime's lose the meaning behind what they were in the mangas too quickly. I loved the FMA Anime and Manga, But the Manga was 10x better IMO.

Neither Anime nor Manga is better.

Some anime may use Manga as source material, but as a general rule for most 1-2 cour shows they follow the manga. And in quite a few cases the author of the manga plays some part in the production process. And some anime are based off of original ideas, for example Selector infected WIXOSS which have no manga nor light novel influence.

Manga is generally the bare backbone of the story, it rarely has colour (which leads to misinterpretations). In some cases it is horrible drawn (Naruto). It has a harder time evoking emotions compared to a visual novel or anime. While yes it does have the author's vision, it is also bound to how the author is health wise (anime rarely run into this problem because most 1-2 cour shows have enough source material), prime examples of manga getting effected by the authors health issues are D.Gray-Man whose author has put it on a permanent hiatus (meaning it will never finish the story), One Piece (Oda constantly gets sick due to overwork leading to frequent breaks).

Visual Novel are a decent middle ground between Anime and Manga, it keeps the authors vision whilst including a more captivating story then a manga. It also provides a better insight into the characters as you generally play as the main character and the story will flow according to your decisions. Unbreakable Machine Doll and the Kagerou Project show how visual novels effect the quality of a story. Unbreakable machine doll has a series of visual novels, a manga and an anime. The anime is based off of the visual novel as opposed to the manga, because the visual novel was the original story. As for the Kagerou Project, it started as a series of songs that told a story, Jin (the creator) then wrote a series of visual novels to accompany the songs. From these novels both a manga and an anime were created. You cant say that the anime or manga is better in either of these cases because they are very similar, and proclaiming one is better then the other ridicules its original source material being the visual novel.

Saying that visual novels and manga are the same thing is retarded, one is a literal comic book whilst the other is either a book with accompanying images or a program with a story based on your choices.

IMO Manhwa > Manga >= Anime = Visual Novels

Korean Manhwa are better then manga, anime of visual novels in my opinion because the author can do whatever they want. They can include soundtracks to accompany the chapter, it is always in full colour and in many cases has amazing quality images by comparison, and the authors (although some milk it) know how to write drama, romance and many other genres that most Japanese authors fall flat on.
(Looking at Sword Art Online and its shit writing with the "romance", Shingeki no kyoujin with its boring attempt at a "suspense" storyline that is predictable, and Fairy Fail and its "story" in general which is literally just boobs and asses with text written around them with a basic story around how "friendship can beat anything").

Nothing i said there is wrong.

Considering Shingeki no Kyoujin's anime is a direct adaptation, if the manga is a shit storm then so is the anime.
And the manga of it is a lot better then the anime.

SAO has horrible writing, as does everything written by that author (accel world), he can only write a decent action story but tries to "break" his boundaries and only ends up smashing his head against the wall constantly. He couldn't write drama or romance even if he had experienced it, which at the time he wrote SAO he had not.

Fairy Tail is one of the worst offenders of Ecchi is a storyline. At least Highschool of the Dead and Highschool DxD have a storyline that doesn't focus on the biggest load of shit ever, "friendship is power". Nakama power is a stupid excuse for powerups, i would rather the bleach technique of learning something new during a fight where you get your ass handed to you than getting stronger from friendship. One Piece had an example of nakama power done right, at Enis Lobby after Luffy had lost to Lucci, Usopp gave a speech which allowed Luffy to get back on his feet and win. Its fine in small doses, but basing a plot around it is just poor writing.

Art is the most subjective thing about anime and manga, i think Naruto looks terrible, leave it at that.
