Your logos are nice, but I prefer the old one.

I think it's good but I like the current more because of how simple it is. Could I request something from you?

I think it would look really nice if you didn't give the ending that jungle vine look you where going for, but instead a straight edge clean cut one.

The pictures colors are to bright... it appears to me that "leafre.net" word art is glitchy too

I like your attempt, but let me tell you a few things:

In my experience as a graphic designer, I have found that, on average, making simple and easy-to-read logos is ideal for the mainstream. Additionally, things that end-users see every time they advance a page when traversing through a website should be simple and iconic. Another important thing to remember is the concept of branding - using a design that people will recognize.

I'm the creator of the header for the Default Style skin (you can change it at the bottom left of the page). Even if it was a mock logo created in within 5 minutes, it was designed to represent Leafre. Of course, it's really simple, but it's to the point - it contains the word "Leafre" in typography suitable for official purposes (and actually, it's the same font used by the Obama campaign, which helps). Included is the Leafre in-game location symbol, magnified by 300%.

Don't get me wrong, your work is good and it represents us well (e.g. the color and texture), but honestly, it's a little busy. In conjunction with the beveling and drop shadow effect you used on the text, it's a little hard to make out.

I've been thinking about making a vectored version of the Leafre egg I mentioned earlier in order to brand ourselves and "officialize" the forums. Maybe you could get to doing that, if you have experience with the vectoring/usign the pen tools on Photoshop or Illustrator.
