Thread: Can't decide which mage to choose

Hello everyone! I was planning in making a magician class(explorer) but can't decide between I/L and F/P. The I/L are good mobers, but I prefer F/P but they are harder to train, can someone tell me what could be the best choice?

F/P for sure, I/L's are just boring as hell, but I recommend a warrior, possibly a DK, we could use those in the alliance
Or a Bow Master :D
Not TOO expensive, but for a head start if you're going to have some money problems get yourself the herbalism profession :)

Well, you kinda answered your own question by saying that you prefer F/P but I'd say F/P as there more interesting to me.

F/P are alright never got mine past 63 =/

Yes I know I kinda answered my own question, but I also don't like stressing or struggling myself. And I have also played on I/L and they seem easier to lvl up. But thanks for your opinion :)

I say Ice/lightning if you want damage and Fire/poison if you want flashy skills. And cleric if you want to support, but it's up to you.

I/L is a really great class, as much as I like thieves, I/L's are great. I've had one for about two months and it is really easy to level.

F/P is a fun job! It has loads of DoT skills that is wayy helpful than mere freezing. What's more, your paralyze can free AND give DoT! If you're the type who is lazy to move around too often, be an I/L. It is a fun job too. Strong lightning skills. However, based on my experience in mage, i find F/P more interesting that I/L because i can utilize my mist! :D

I prefer Ice/Lightnings for their mobbing. It also helps that their skills look cool.
