Minecraft Tekkit Leafre Server

I decided to post this here to get more publicized

SERVER IP IS tekkit.leafre.net:25765

What is Tekkit?
Tekkit is a mod pack (look down to see what mods) for minecraft that includes several additions to the game such as pipes, oil, new blocks (Marble, Basalt, etc), ores (Emerald, Copper, Sapphire, etc), and more!


How do I join?
First off, you need a different client.

For paid members:

For non paying members:

Note: You will need to register an account at minecraft.net


Run the downloaded above
Note 2: For non-paying members: if you run the .jar file and a zip/rar window comes up, right click the .jar file and use Open With Java
On the top left, click the drop down feature and select tekkit


Now enter your minecraft info on and login!
If it's your first time, it'll take a few minutes to download everything.

  • ​Has pipes and several items that can automate several things.
  • Quarries - can mine for you
  • Builders - can build for you

  • ​Tons of machines
  • Things that can produce energy (solar panels, wind mills, water mills, etc)
  • As well as items that use energy (electric furnace, macerator, etc)

  • ​Can move down an item once it's all used (example: you have 5 pickaxes. The one you're using breaks, so your other pickaxe will move to the same spot of the old pickaxe)

  • ​If you have items in this chest, you can connect it to another ender chest to access the same chest

  • ​Tunes minecraft for less lag.
  • Adds more features in the Video Setting to adjust to your desire

  • ​Adds several more weapons such as Spears, Battleaxe, Guns, and more

Current Plugins:

• Factions (aka guilds)
  
  • Faction creation is available for everyone (/f create [name])
  • You can make an alliance with someone as well (/f ally)
  • Or become enemies
  • Factions can claim land
    
    • To claim land, you need power (/f power to check your power)
    • Claimed land cannot be griefed. Additionally, people not in your faction cannot use your furnace, doors, and chests
    • Everyone has a max of 100 power. When you and another person create a faction, you'll have 200 max power for the faction, giving you the ability to claim more land
    • You can obtain power by defeating other players or mobs (friendly or non friendly)
• AuthMe
  
  • Password authentication. Added to prevent imposters

In all honesty I think Minecraft and Terraria are kind of equal.
Minecraft to me feels more like a crafting / building game. While Terraria is the rpg style.
I mean both can play either style it's just that one of them you get the better feel of.

and is this like a public server hosted by someone else. Or is it hosted by someone from leafre

PvP. But nobody right now is really doing PvP. just setting up their base and stuff
