    Bump bump.
Sorry for bumping a 2 month old thread.
    Just wanna ask for opinions.

After doing some research here's what I got.
Below should be the most of what I can get in the store, and also with my current financial situation.

    RAM: 2x KINGSTON 8GB KVR1600 DDR3 RAM RM199
    HDD: 2x WD CAVIAR BLUE 500GB 16M SATA-6 RM167
    GPU: SAPP ATI HD7770 PCIE 1GB DDR5 128BIT RM 385
    PSU: AEROCOOL STRIKE X 500W PSU RM180

    Hardware:

Unless you do heavy photoshopping or other memory intensive tasks, I don't think 16GB RAM is really necessary. 8GB however would be good enough for most intensive gaming at any resolution lower than 1920x1080.
So you can cut down 1 module's money and add it to....your graphics card.

Your GPU is very weak imo. A GTX 650 TI would do wonders here for the tight budget you have. I recommend a Leadtek or a Palit card (both are around 580~600).
Not sure why your HDD is dual 500GBs but I guess that's a personal preference

You can probably drop the Genius keyboard cuz it sux. Even something cheap like Gigabyte Force K3 will work, but that again is up to your preference.
Speakers will only make a difference if you're an audiophile imo. I'm no expert in speakers so I'll say nothing about it.

I assume the 7870 has 2 PCI-e ports, so look out on whether your PSU has 2 connectors or not, or a molex 4 pin to PCI-e 6 pin adapter, which generally most PSUs have

Perhaps try saving up a bit more. I can assure you that it's worth it. If you can get yourself around $1500, I can give you a build I designed for my friend.

wells you could try this website newegg.com, if you have frys electronic around your area that would be better. because most of my hardware is from them. they do give good deals every weekends and holidays. so you can buy each piece of the puzzle at a time.
