you'll want the guide http://leafre.net/guides-54/%5Binfo%5Dstarting-your-kms-adventure-red-edition-28006/]here as for classes starting out just go ahead and make a zero, the money is nice and sometimes you'll get some cube drops while in his story mode to sell which are going for i think it was almost 2m a piece atm? i'd suggest looking through the guides sections though before making a thread there is tons of information on how to get started here posted in guides and the friendly search button.

Need any help? I'm happy to lend a hand to the fullest of my ability!

Zero. as a beginner, you should start with zero.
easy leveling, minor potion use, money rewards from quests, and the class itself is pretty fun too.
also - NO KSERS up to level 180 (due to Zero's level system and premium dungeons)

I'm going to play KMS too. The atmosphere there seems so much more professional and nice. I also can't wait to play Zero. OMG I'm practically getting goosebumps.

I heard (RED) Dark Knight was at the top of the DPS charts just behind Zero. I'm definitely going to try him next.

zero is your best bet. great damage with minimal eq. you can solo hilla with just standard issue equipment once you 'graduate' into the maple world at level 180. great for earning mesos too

Lie Detectors aren't that brutal. I thought the same thing. Just practice practice practice. Within a few hours, You will start getting the hang of it.
On Topic: Zero is one of the best classes for beginner players. They may seem hard to control, But its pretty simple. The potions you get from quest and dungeons can be sold for money. (you don't really need potions)
They also deal a huge amount of damage when "Assist" Is on.
