    MapleStory: Shining

    I had fun doing this. :D.

    You guys PLEASE spread this all over. I posted this on the GMS forums but someone told me that i have to get the Korean developers to look at this and consider adding it to the game so i decided to post it here, if someone has a way to contact the Korean maplestory developers and show them this then THAT'LL BE WONDERFUL. I want the developers to see this and consider adding everything here into the game.

    The level cap has been increase to 300 from 250 due to upcoming 5th job. Also the exp curve from level 200 to level 250 has been reduce by 20% due to player feedback.



    Due to player feedback we’ve now added a party-play/multiplayer function to the “Mu-lung dojo” area.
    We’ve also reduced the HP of the monsters in single-player mode in the Mu-lung Dojo by 50% aswell as the amount of emblems the monsters drop upon defeat. We’ve also increased the amount of emblems, potions and power-ups that drop from the monsters in multiplayer by 3x. Also in multiplayer, when one person loot a emblem, everyone in the party will receive one in their inventories!



    Due to player feedback stating that “Pirates got the shorter end of the stick from the R.E.D update”, We’ve re-revamped the pirate class.

    Notice: The animations you see with these revamps are just skill mock-ups to give the developers an idea on how the skills should look like for when they design the new skills, they won’t or shouldn’t look exactly like how they are here if they was to be implemented into the game. I suck at coming up with custom skill animations so bare with me. Also please ignore the watermarks you see in the bottom-right of the animations, I had no other good gif maker so… Yeah. >.>

    Pirate:
    Removed! Bullet Time (1st)
    New! Pirate Mastery (1st): Becoming the best swashbuckler you can be.
    Passively increase your Accuracy by +220, maxHP by +20%, MaxSpeed by +20, jump increased by +10.
    (Max level : 10)

    Buccaneer:
    Removed! Tornado Upper (2nd)
    Removed! Energy Tornado (2nd)
    Screw Punch (2nd): Damage has been increased from 360% to 390%.


    New! Twister Back-spin (2nd): Spin-kick your opponents in a swirly fashion. Dealing 380% Damage on up to 6 enemies. MP cost: 30. In addition to existing effects, when Energy Charge is active Twister Back-spin will change into the stronger and longer ranged skill Tornado Back-spin. Twister Back-spin can also push enemies. (Max level : 10)


    New! Tornado Back-spin: Infuse your feet with energy to deliver a powerful spin kick to your opponents. Consuming 85 Energy, dealing 420% damage on up to 6 enemies.
    Removed! Shockwave (3rd)


    New! Spirit Infusion (3rd): Fuse with the transformed spirit giving you super-human strength! When active, total damage increase by +10%, maxHP and maxMP increase by +10%, defense and magic defense increase by +10%. Energy consumption of all skills -10%. Duration: 150 seconds. Cooldown 300 seconds. Can only be used when Energy is fully charged. (Max level : 10)


    New! Aerial Strike (3rd): Use your energized fist to jump and swiftly punch multiple enemies into the air. Airborne enemies take more damage. Dealing 980% damage on up to 8 enemies, Addition Damage (to airborne enemies): +50%. Number of hits: 1. MP cost: 70. In addition to existing effects when Energy Charge is active Aerial Strike’s damage will be increased by +10%, Consumes 180 Energy. (Max level : 10)
    Admiral's Wings (3rd): Now permanently gives +20% maxhp increase.
    Double Spiral (3rd): Damage has been increased from 337% to 345%, in addition to existing effects, can be linked with Aerial Strike after use.
    Removed! Dragon Strike (4th)


    New! Advanced Spirit Infusion (4th): Amplify the effects of Spirit Infusion further increasing your strength! When active, all skills attack count increase by +1, total damage increase by +15%, maxHP and maxMP increase by +15%, and defense and magic defense increase by +15%, Energy consumption of all skills -15%, maxSpeed increased by +10%. Duration: 210 seconds, Cooldown 300 seconds. Can only be used when Energy is fully charged. Effects does not stack with Spirit Infusion. Required Skill: Spirit Infusion Lv. 10. (Max level : 10)
    Typhoon Crush (4th): The 40% chance of ignoring all enemy DEF has been removed. In addition, Typhoon crush can now permanently increases your minimum and maximum critical damage by 30%, your enemy DEF ignore by 50%, and 20% boss damage and +20 weapon attack has been added.
    Speed Infusion (4th): Master level has been decreased from 20 to 10.


    New! Whirlwind Kick (4th): Unleash a continuous swirly kick that’ll rapidly damage your enemies. Dealing 400% damage every 0.1 second for 10 seconds. Max enemies hit: 10. Number of attacks: 1. MP cost: 400. Can move while using the skill. Cooldown 70 seconds. Required Skill: Twister Back-spin Lv. 10 (Max level : 30)

    Animation when you’re in your normal state and when your energy is fully charged:

    Animation when Advanced Spirit Infusion is active:

    Fist Enrage (4th): Skill animations has been changed. The effect of when Energy charge is active changing Fist Enrage into Fist Outrage has been removed. In addition to existing effects, when Energy Charge is active, Fist Enrage will deal +10% increased damage, and when Spirit Infusion is active, Fist Enrage will change into Fist Outrage and deal +20% increased damage. Damage will stack with the previous effect.

    Animation when you’re in your normal state:

    Animation when you’re using Advanced Spirit Infusion:

    Energy Blast (4th): Skill animations has been changed. The effect of when Energy charge is active changing Energy blast into Double Blast has been removed. In addition to existing effects, when Energy Charge is active, Energy Blast will deal +10% increased damage with an increased range, and when Spirit Infusion is active, Energy Blast will change into Double Blast and deal +20% increased damage with an increased range. Damage will stack with the previous effect.

    Removed! Unity of Power (Hyper) Stat boosts were moved to Typhoon crush (4th).

    New! Explosion Wave (Hyper): Sacrifice the transformed spirit to cause an explosion of a wave of energy. Consumes the Spirit Infusion buff, dealing 3000% damage 6 times on up to 15 enemies. Can only be used when Spirit Infusion is active. Required Skill: Advanced Spirit Infusion Lv. 1
    Double Lucky Dice – Extra Number (Hyper): The chance to activate the lucky number 7 has been increased from 9% to 10%



    Corsair:
    Double Barrel Shot (3rd): Damage has been increased from 459% to 490%
    Assemble Crew (3rd): Animations has been changed. In addition to existing effects, When Battleship is active, the duration of summoned crewmembers has been increased from 120 seconds to 180 seconds, Stoner’s damage increased from 480% to 500%, Valerie’s damage is increased from 560% to 580%, Muirhart’s damage is increased from 500% to 520%, and Jack’s damage is increased from 300% to 320%.
    Quick Draw (4th): The chance to activate Quick Draw has been increased from 8% to 15%
    Fusillade (4th): Damage has been increased from 649% to 760%
    Removed! Battleship Bomber (4th)
    New! Battleship (4th): Summon your battleship and sail the 7 seven seas! Total damage increase by +10%, maxHP and maxMP increased by +15%, defense and magic defense increased by 2500, monster def ignore increased by +40%, critical chance increased by +50%, maximum critical damage increased by 40%. Can move while using the skill. Rapid fire, Head shot, Strange bomb, fusillade and buff skills can only be used when this skill is active. Duration: 180 seconds. Cooldown 270 seconds. You cannot put SP into this skill directly, it is based off of Rapid Fire. Rapid Fire’s Reinforce and Boss Killer Hypers affect this skill. (max level: 30)*
    Crew Commandership (4th): Attack boost has been increased from 45 to 50. In addition to existing effects, When Battleship is active, Valerie’s critical chance boost has been increased from 15% to 20%, Muirhart’s critical damage boost has been increased from 15% to 20%, Jack’s HP and MP boosts have been increased from 30% to 40%, Stoner ‘s resistance to states has been increased from 15% to 20%, and the chance for crew members not to disappear when they absorb a status effect for you has been increased from 15% to 20%.
    Double Lucky Dice – Extra Number (Hyper): The chance to activate the lucky number 7 has been increased from 9% to 10%.

    *Note to the developers: For Corsair’s Battleship skill, make it where when you use Headshot skill while in the battleship a torpedo or missile fires from the cannon, and if you use Rapid fire while in the battleship, make it where small yellow spheres rapidly fire from the cannon, and when you use fusillade, make it where multiple bombs fire from the cannon, also make it when if battleship is active that Corsair’s crew members ride tiny battleships along side the player. And the animation for Battleship is suppose to be the same animation for the skill Battleship Bomber.

    Due to the revamps bringing back transformation and the battleship, the level 120 battleship and transformation mounts has been removed.



    Due to player feedback stating that angelic buster’s recharge rates were too “harsh”, we made the following changes.
    For Global MapleStory’s Angelic buster.

    Angelic Buster:
    Pink Pummel (2nd): Recharge chance has been increased from 20% to 35%.
    Lovely Sting (2nd): Recharge chance has been increased from 50% to 55%.
    Heavenly Crash (3rd): Recharge chance has been increased from 20% to 40%.
    Soul Seeker (3rd): Recharge chance has been increased from 30% to 45%.
    Shining Star Burst (3rd): Recharge chance has been increased from 40% to 50%.
    Finale Ribbon (4th): Recharge chance has been increased from 50% to 60%.
    Celestial Roar (4th): Recharge chance has been increased from 40% to 55%
    Trinity (4th): Recharge chance has been increased from 50% to 60%.



    Changes has been made to the MapleWarrior skill. When you use MapleWarrior you can now stack your MapleWarrior skill with someone’s elses MapleWarrior skill, But the effect will only apply to everyone in a party. (This is similar to the hyper skill “Epic Adventurer”)
    It can only stack up to 6 times (Which is the total number of party members you can only have). But for each stack the effect is reduced by 10%.
    Example:
    2x stacked MapleWarrior = 20% all-stat increase to everyone in the party.
    3x stacked MapleWarrior = 25% all-stat increase to everyone in the party.
    4x stacked MapleWarrior = 30% all-stat increase to everyone in the party.
    5x stacked MapleWarrior = 35% all-stat increase to everyone in the party.
    6x stacked MapleWarrior = 40% all-stat increase to everyone in the party.

    These changes applies to other skills like MapleWarrior such as the skills: Call of Cygnus, Nova Warrior, and Dawn’s Warrior.



    Due to player feedback stating that quest rewards are outdated, changes has been made to quests. We’ve greatly increased the Meso and EXP rewards and added special rewards for completing some quests such as: Artisan’s cube’s, [b]Master’s cube’s[b], Special scroll’s(Protection scrolls, 50% Unique and Epic Potential scrolls, Safety scrolls, Lucky day scrolls, Enhancement scrolls, etc.), 50% Golden Hammer’s, Nebulite’s, Chaos scroll’s, Clean Slate’s, Innocent scroll’s, and other rewards!
    This change applies to quests level’s 30 to 300.



    To encourage more teamwork and party-play into the game, We’ve made the following changes:
    We’ve added a +20% bonus experience rate, and +10% bonus drop rate increase per person to everyone who’s in a party. We’ve also added a monster spawn rate increase per person to everyone who’s in the party.
    Example:
    if 2 people are in a party: the 2 would get a +20% exp rate increase and a +10% drop rate increase.
    if 3 people are in a party: the 3 would get a +40% exp rate increase and a +20% drop rate increase.
    if 4 people are in a party: the 4 would get a +60% exp rate increase and a +30% drop rate increase.
    if 5 people are in a party: the 5 would get a +80% exp rate increase and a +40% drop rate increase.
    if 6 people are in a party: the 6 would get a +100% exp rate increase and a +50% drop rate increase.

    However, if anyone in the party remain idle for more then 10 minutes, the bonus exp rate and drop rate that comes from that person will diminish.
    Example: If 4 people were in a party but 1 of them is idle for more then 10 minutes, only the bonus effects of 3 people being in a party will be applied to everyone and that person who’s inactive will not receive any bonus benefits from being in a party with multiple people until he’s active.



    We’ve increased the max level of every link-skill from 3 to 10! This includes other link-skills that didn’t have a max level of 3.
    Here are the new level tables for the level of the link skills:
    Level 70 : level 1 link skill.
    Level 120 : level 2 link skill.
    Level 150 : level 3 link skill.
    Level 180 : level 4 link skill.
    Level 200 : level 5 link skill.
    Level 220 : level 6 link skill.
    Level 240 : level 7 link skill.
    Level 260 : level 8 link skill.
    Level 280 : level 9 link skill.
    Level 300 : level 10 link skill.




    Due to player Feedback stating that the event npc’s such as Cassandra, Maple Administrator, and Gaga were causing some latacy issues, we’ve moved these npc’s to a specific hidden map, and if you ever need to visit these npc’s we’ve placed portals in every main town that’ll take you to their hidden map.



    Due to player feedback, we’ve brought back the Orginal PVP system, from how it originally was when we’ve released the Chaos update!
    Which means in PVP your Potential, Additional Potential, and Nebulite stats are nullified for the mode that’s under level 180.


    For Global MapleStory
    We’ve made changes to the nebulite system. We’ve increased the maximum number of lines of nebulites you can have on an equipment from 1 to 3! We’ve also increased the drop rate of nebulite boxes that drops from normal monsters.
    We’ve also made A rank and B rank nebulites drop from any boss monster but at a below-average rate.



    We’ve added a new item to the cash shop. We’ve added a new miracle cube called “Shining miracle cube”, it can go up to legendary and gives you a 50% chance to give you your desired stats for your specific job. If it fails, it’ll act like a normal miracle cube which randomly changes your potential stats.
    *
    Example: If you were a warrior and use this cube on any equipment, you’d have a 50% chance to get %str, weapon att, %att, etc. And if you were a mage, you’d have a 50% chance to get %int, magic attack, %M.ATT, etc.
    Price: 2,000 nexon cash.

    Using a Shining Miracle cube gives you 1 Shining miracle cube fragment.
    5 Shining miracle cube fragment’s can be traded in for a Unique Potential scroll 80%.
    10 Shining miracle cube fragment’s can be traded in for a Perfect Potential Stamp which gives a 100% chance to add other line to your potential.

    *Note to the developers: The design for the Shining Miracle Cube is suppose to be a white cube that glows with a rainbow “S” on the sides.



    We’ve added new items that drop from bosses called boss totems, boss totems drop from the hardest difficulty on every main boss and each has different stats.
    Chaos Zakum totem: REQ level 140, STR/DEX/INT/LUK +5, Weapon/Magic ATT +5.
    Von leon totem(Normal mode): REQ level 130, STR/DEX/INT/LUK +7, Weapon/Magic ATT +7.
    Chaos Horntail totem: REQ level 160, STR/DEX/INT/LUK +10, Weapon/Magic ATT +10.
    Arkarium totem(Normal mode): REQ level 160, STR/DEX/INT/LUK +12, Weapon/Magic ATT +12.
    Chaos Pink bean totem: REQ level 180, STR/DEX/INT/LUK +15, Weapon/Magic ATT +15.
    Cygnus totem: REQ level 190, STR/DEX/INT/LUK +20, Weapon/Magic ATT +20.
    Oz totem: REQ level 190, INT + 18, Magic ATT +18.
    Eckhart totem: REQ level 190, LUK +18, Weapon ATT +18.
    Mikhail totem: REQ level 190, STR +18, Weapon ATT +18.
    Irena totem: REQ level 190, DEX +18, Weapon ATT +18.
    Hawkeye totem: REQ level 190, STR/DEX +18, Weapon ATT +18.
    Hilla totem(Hard mode): REQ level 190, STR/DEX/INT/LUK +22, Weapon/Magic ATT +22.
    Magnus totem (Hard mode): REQ level 190, STR/DEX/INT/LUK +25, Weapon/Magic ATT +25.



    We’ve remove the meso fee to obtain the items for job specific mounts. All classes no longer has to pay a fee for the items for them to obtain their mounts.



    We’ve made changes to Aran and Evan. Aran and Evan now have their own link-skills.
    For Aran; Awaken Legend: at level 1: +10% damage when hitting only one target.
    For Evan; Mir’s Rebirth: at level 1: +5% Maximum critical damage.

    Aran and Evan now have their own new character creation menu that includes their unique hair and face styles.
    Newly created male Aran’s will now only have the “Aran” hairstyle upon creation which can be either; Black, Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Purple, and Brown. And will only be able to pick from “Dramatic” and “Rebels Fire” face styles. And newly created female Aran’s will now only have the “White Perming” hairstyle upon creation which can be either; Black, Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Purple, and Brown. And will only be able to pick from “Female 1” and “Female 2” face styles.

    Newly created male Evan’s will now only have the “Evan” hairstyle upon creation which can be either; Black, Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Purple, and Brown. And will only be able to pick from “Male Evan face” face styles. And newly created female Evan’s will now only have the “Black Evan hair” which can be either; Black, Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Purple, and Brown. And will only be able to pick from “Female Evan face” Face style.

    Aran:
    Beyond Blade (Hyper Skill): Damage has been increased from 420% to 810%. Speed has been increased.

    Evan:
    Dark Fog (4th): In addition to its existing effects, When Dark fog is on cooldown your attacks will have a 60% chance to deal an extra hit of 250% damage.



    Due to player feedback, We’ve removed the decreased drop-rate and Meso penalty that comes from hunting monsters lower or above your level for all levels.



    Due to player feedback we’ve now made all class cash shop inventory’s into one inventory. All classes no longer have their own separate cash shop inventories.



    The effects from Blessing of the Fairy and Empress's Blessing now stack with each other.
    If both skills are at max level, you’ll get a 50+ weapon attack, Accuracy, and Avoidability bonus!

    --Below will be my opinion on this, you don't have to like it, but you can comment on it.--

    .....Well Tornado Back-Spin/Twister Back-Spin for 2nd and 3rd job just looks like a color reskin, why make it for 3rd job when there is a copy of it at 2nd job? The only thing it does is increase 40%, and It looks like a 1st/2nd job move in general. Going back to 1st job, it looks like you removed the majority of its skills so now it is going to be unplayable, so you should add Aerial Strike, because of especially how it looks like a 1st job move.

    My suggestions:
    Aerial Strike should be a 1st job move
    The reskin for Tornado Back-Spin should be removed because it is just a pointless addition (Unless if it is some type of passive that improves the skill, though I'm not sure how useful it would be)
    Whirlwind Kick looks 3rd job.

    Aside from Pirates,

    Wouldn't this cause a lot of botting?

    Don't imply getting to 250 wasn't easy enough, and the jumping from level caps seems to be going quick recently. Considering the fact that you get 4th job at Level 100, you would have a lot of levels leftover for 5th job, at least depending on when you would get it..

    Other than that, Maplestory FLY is here also. It has only begun, so even if you sent this now, and it somehow got accepted, it would take a long time before it came.

    Also Shining looks like one big update/part considering the fact that it is just a Pirate revamp and a few edits to the game.

    --Just my opinions, I know I'm stupid enough to not deserve them, and I'm in no position to write this, but what the hell. Once again, you don't have to like it.--

    Other than the idiotic opinions I spit out above, I still think this is good and somewhat necessary.
