It was ruined when it went Global. Beta was awesome because the community was good, then tons of idiots joined and... it is what it is.

If you were level 120, you'd get an entire Reverse+Timeless Set, Blackfist/Goldensoul Cape depending on your class, an alien shield/ring/earring/ depending on your class, and a Wild Wolf Bandana that added 18 all stats and had 10 slots along wth your 25k nx, but I'm guessing you weren't 120 so you didn't get those items. c:

Nexon are really money greeders.

Firstly, nothing new here. Nexon is a business, not a game development company. What do you expect? Them to care?

Iv' ebeen hacked some months ago, all they did is give me 25K NX and some shitty items.

Okay, and who's fault is it that you got hacked? You do realize that a lot of people have keygens and virus' on their systems and they don't do jack squat about it. So if someone gets hacked it's mos likely their own fault. You can also up your security by having passwords of 16 characters, numbers and symbols. It makes it really hard to crack. Additionally, don't use a 6 number pin, make it the max, I forgot what that is. Or at least don't just do 000000, because that's really stupid.

I wasted so much money on NX for them, and I get one 25$ card back for my lost items.

So you admit to wasting money, that's a start. Let me put it to you this way. If you were to play World of Warcraft and you got your account hacked, do you think that the game will refund you all the months you've played? No. Why? Because it's a business and also because it's money that they've gotten, they're not gonna 100% refund you because that would mean a huge loss of profit for them.

Seriously.. they're making it worse everytime, Every patch they must have a glitch or an exploit thta ruins the economy or the game.

Actually no, most of the glitches and exploits have been there for a long time, it's just that the hacking forum communities don't bring it out to the public and the high-end bot/hack coders keep it to themselves so they can abuse them. It's all about moderation. There are people who have been hacking Maplestory since beta and haven't been caught yet. How? Because they write their own hacks/bypasses and they're smart about it. They also don't go all-out and make it obvious.

As for generic hacking of peoples accounts, that's why you don't go to sketchy websites. If and when I get a lot of money, I'm going to have 2 desktops. One for video games/work and the other for browsing and whatnot, that way I can be safe from viruses for the most part. It's the only surefire way, unless you use a closed shell system, which wouldn't be used to play games at all, therefore killing the purpose. GMS has been dead for a long time, but your reasons for why are all wrong. It's dead because of the community. Look at how many people on this forum think only of themselves. Look at yourself. Hell, look at me.

EVERYONE thinks only of themselves now. Back in Tespia before GMS was global, the community was small and kind. People shared, people helped, people did not beg. Now, if someone decides to be nice to a noob, the noob will keep asking for more and not stop. It's a spoonfeeding machine. If I spoonfeed you, you'll want me to keep spoonfeeding you, and I won't be able to do what I need to do. Before, in beta, I wouldn't even need to spoonfeed you, I'd just hold your hand and we'd have a nice adventure together. Not just that, but GMS is going for more of a "solo, fast level" system to get rid of the spoonfeed, but what they're doing is just cutting out the player connection and spoonfeeding even more.

KMS is similar, but it's not as bad. Since it's not English, there's less of the "white supremacy" which exists in a lot of America (yes all of America) simply due to ignorance and obliviousness. KMS is easier to level for different reasons. People are misquoted when they say "KMS IS EASIER TO LEVEL, OMGAH IT'S SO NAIS, SO EZMODE" it's easier than GMS and it's easier to level BECAUSE OF THE PLAYER CONNECTIONS. You can actually join almost any PQ. You can actually party with people. People will share maps. It's not a 1 person CD map, you can have 3 people training in CD's simultaneously in 1 channel. It WILL work in KMS. Because people aren't as greedy. However, with the influx of "ignorant 'white supremists'" from Leafre, it's slightly killing that. An example is Jathavan, trying to troll Koreans. It's THEIR game. WE'RE the trespassers, you shouldn't be trolling them. Be respectful to them.

Yes, I'm saying that a lot of us are 'white supremists' but I'm using that term loosely. I'll describe it here. When I say white supremist, I mean people who think English is the all-spoken language and that it's easy to learn and that everyone should know it. Yes, I'm looking at all of you noobs who keep posting everywhere spamming. Sure, I spam, but I don't spam spam. I spam posts that actually contain knowledge. Although I have slipped a few times.

You shouldn't think of yourself only, you should think of the whole. Be respectful and people will respect you. Be rude and we, Leafre, will drop you and let you burn on your own. We're not going to let you take us down with yourself. We'll also probably revoke your account.

90% of the problem in maple are the people.
10% is nexon. That how i think of it.
Its true Nexon is money greedy but they also run the games you play.. If there no nexon you won't playing maple at all
