This is a referring event, essentially.
First, you must get your referral code
http://maplestory.nexon.com/MapleSto...nvitation/Main
Click on the left button and you'll get a code. That code will not change.
You'll then give the code to a new mapler. When they create their Nexon ID, they'll enter it

In the green box.
They'll then be successfully referred.
What does it mean?

Well, for the referrer:

2	5 Tempest Coins, 10 Fame, 30 Charm, 1 Mysterious Scroll, Event Stamp
3	5 Tempest Coins, 10 Fame, 30 Charm & Charisma, 3 50% Golden Hammers, Together EXP Potion (+50% EXP)
4	5 Tempest Coins, 10 Fame, 40 Charm & Charisma, Positive Chaos Scroll, Friends Ring (3 All stat, 70 DEF, 1 ATK/MATK, 1 Slot)
5	5 Tempest Coins, 10 Fame, 50 Charm & Charisma, 100% Epic Potential Scroll, Friends Chain [Belt] (5 All stat, 150 DEF, 1 ATK/MATK, 3 Slots)
6 and more	One of the following AT RANDOM: Personality Trait Potions, Other useless potions, 2x EXP buff, 'Friends Drop Coupon', Special Potential Scroll, Advanced Equipment Enhancement Scroll, 3 Star Equipment Enhancement Scroll, Positive Chaos Scroll, Chaos Scroll

You'll only get prizes 1-5 once.


If you been doing every event, you should now have 11 event stamps, giving you the the wings!


So what do the referees get? Well, it depends on their level. Every 5 levels from 10-60, they'll get a 2x EXP Buff (1HR) and 1 Tempest Coin, along with:

10	Drop Coupon, 'Maple New Face' Medal (10 ATK, 50 DEF, 500 HP/MP, 20 Speed/Jump. Lasts for 30 days)
15	Friends Wing Glasses (Lv. 13, 1 all stat, 20 DEF, 5 Jump, 3 Slots)
20	Grapes Pendant (Lv. 20, 2 All stat, 50 DEF, 3 Slots)
25	Grapes Belt (Lv. 20, 1 All stat, 50 DEF, 3 Slots)
30	Maple Earrings (Lv. 30, 1 All stat, 20 HP/MP, 12 DEF, 10 Avoid/Acc, 5 Slots)
35	Maple Leaf Face Accessory (Lv. 30, 1 all stat, 10 DEF, 5 Speed)
40	Maple New Face Belt (Lv. 50, 4 All stat, 2 ATK/MATK, 150 HP/MP, 40 DEF)
45	Maple Scarf (Lv. 30, 2 all stat, 20 HP/MP, 15 DEF, 1 ATK/MATK, 2 Slots)
50	Maple Earrings (Lv. 50, 2 all stat, 45 HP/MP, 18 DEF, 15 Avoid/Acc, 5 Slots)
55	Maple Leaf Face Accessory (Lv. 50, 2 All stat, 20 DEF, 5 Speed)
60	Maple Scarf (Lv. 50, 4 all stat, 40 HP/MP, 25 DEF, 1 ATK/MATK, 1 Slot)

Some guidelines:
You must have a Lv. 30 to be able to be a referer
You can only get a max of 100 referees.
For a referral to count, they must create a character (?)

I only got 5 referees and I got the first 5 rewards (rewards 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5).

Really? That's interesting.

Whoa whoa whoa, does this mean we can get 10 referrals from 1 Nexon account? If so... daddy needs a new empress weapon and Casper/Kevin will supply it >:D.

Yes.

Let me try to explain how this all works: Make sure, before starting, the character you want to receive the rewards is your account's main character via the website. when creating a MAPLE ID (NOT A NEXON ID - A NEXON ID CAN MAKE 10 MAPLE IDs) you will see this:

In that green box on the bottom, you type the referral ID of your maple account that you want to receive the referral items. You can find that ID by going to http://maplestory.nexon.com/MapleSto...nvitation/Main , logging in, and clicking the green button on the left. Make a maple account, type in your referral ID during creation, and then log in with the account and make a new character and get to level 2. Then log out. Your main account now has 1 referral, repeat until you have as many as you want. To redeem your prizes, go back to http://maplestory.nexon.com/MapleSto...nvitation/Main , scroll down, and click the blue button (this one: ) next to the reward you want, assuming you have enough referrals for it. A window will come up, click the button on the left. I don't know if this was a bug or if the description for the event is just wrong, but what the page ended up doing for me here is awarding me every item I had access to. (I clicked the 3rd reward when I had 5 referrals and it gave me prizes 3, 4, and 5 [I already had 1 and 2 before doing that]). Now, go up to the window where it shows the preview of your main character, the one where it says "GAME START" above it. There will be a button here that says U-OTP, and immediately to the left of it is another button in korean text. Click the korean text button and a pop-up window will appear, with a list. Each item on this list should have your main character's name, and a button. Click the buttons. Then, go in-game on that character, and enter the cash shop - your items will then be given to you.
