    1.2.508 - Star Force & Several Changes

    Star Force

    1. Star Force is a new Enhancement System. They're the star icons when enhancing.
    2. Star Force maps will have a gauge indicating how much star force is required
    3. Star Force is required to defeat Star mobs. Star force mobs are prefixed with a [★] and located in star force maps. Star Force maps are easily identified with a red portal or via the world screen star icon (look at my position)
    4. The more Star Force you acquire, the more weaker the star force mobs become

    Star Force Enhancement System

    1. Star Force Strengthening Scrolls can be used to strengthen your equipment
    2. Depending on your equipment's level, a limit is set on how much times you can strengthen it
      • Less than 95: 5 (Superior Equipment: 3)
      • Lv. 95 - 109: 8 (Superior Equipment: 5)
      • Lv. 110 - 119: 10 (Superior Equipment: 8)
      • Lv. 120 - 129: 15 (Superior Equipment: 10)
      • Lv. 130 - 139: 20 (Superior Equipment: 12)
      • Lv. 140 - 149: 25 (Superior Equipment: 15)
      • Lv. 150 and over: 25 (Superior Equipment: 15)
    3. You can increase your success rate of Star Force strength through a mini game
      (stop the star in the center)
      • If you do this several times within a short period of time, the difficulty of the mini game will get harder
    4. Star Force failure compensation added

    As you can see, the further down you go, the more expensive it is. Look at the bottom right glove. Going from 23 -> 24 star takes 397 million mesos but gives you +19 Attack. If you're wondering what the percentages are, its:
    • Success %
    • Decrease % (will lower a star)
    • Failure %
    1. For testing purposes in KMST, all jobs are able to be created
    2. Evolving System changes
      • Evolving System gives more EXP
      • Structure changed, allowing you to enter each link
      • Evolving System's environment changing aspect has been changed
      • Evolving System's monster changing aspect has been changed
      • Evolving System's mission changing aspect has been changed
      • Entry limit changed to 3 times a day (with 15 minutes per)
      • If you die inside, you can revive back inside
      • Looting a coin gives all party members the coin
    3. Tutorial System reorganized
      • Lv. 100-140 section added under "Hard" tab
      • The hover over window gives you a rundown of the rewards and such for specific places/quests
      • By right clicking, you can see where the place is located on the world map.
    4. Elite Monsters and Bosses reorganized
      • Elite Monster's level and skill is now proportioned to the monsters in the map
      • Bonus Stage now has private drops from the mimic boxes
      • Bonus Stage's mimic boxes bug regarding moving to top of map has been fixed
      • Can only obtain up to 3 rare items from Bonus Stage
      • 50% Innocent Scroll added to bonus Stage
    5. Party EXP fixed
      • If a party member's level difference was higher than 40, users would still gain EXP. This has been fixed
    6. Blacklist Enhancements
      • Blacklisted people will not be able to /find you
    7. 'Login as offline' Enhancement
      • You'll be marked as offline in a guild/alliance now
      • People wont be able to /find you
    8. Teleporting via Boss Matching is now disabled
    1. New UI to level up skills
      • When clicking the up arrow to increase a skill's level, you'll now be prompted if you'd like to add more than 1 SP or All
      • This also prevents people from accidentally putting SP in the wrong skill
    2. SP obtained for 4th job changed
      • After Lv 100, all levels that end with the digit 0, 3, 6, or 9 will only give you 2x the SP
      • Every 10 levels after Lv 100, you'll get 1 SP more per level
      • When job advancing to 4th job, you'll receive 3 SP instead of 4
      • You'll only need 255 SP to max out all your skills.
    3. Change of Mastery Levels
      • Note that only mastery levels change, the skill's damage/effect/time is not affected
      1. Dual Blade
        • Thorns Thorns: 30 -> 20
      2. Cannon Shooter
        • Anchors Aweigh Anchors Aweigh: 15 -> 20
      3. Soul Master/Dawn Warrior
        • Equinox Cycle Equinox Cycle: 20 -> 30
        • Impassible: 10 -> 15
      4. Flame Wizard
        • Flame Barrier Flame Barrier: 10 -> 20
        • Magic Of Truth Magic Of Truth: 10 -> 15
      5. Wind Archer
        • Trifling Whim III Trifling Whim III: 20 -> 30. Damage changed
        • Emerald Dust Emerald Dust: 10 -> 15
      6. Night Walker

    Damn thats annoying! Dark knights's skill crossoverchain is being nerfed 100%->80%........ a lot of damage lost....

    OK. I understand the Star Force System more clearly now.
    Basically, Star Force is the stars on your equipment when enhancing. Each equipment has a limit of how many stars you can get, as stated below:
    Less than 95: 5 (Superior Equipment: 3)
    Lv. 95 - 109: 8 (Superior Equipment: 5)
    Lv. 110 - 119: 10 (Superior Equipment: 8)
    Lv. 120 - 129: 15 (Superior Equipment: 10)
    Lv. 130 - 139: 20 (Superior Equipment: 12)
    Lv. 140 - 149: 25 (Superior Equipment: 15)
    Lv. 150 and over: 25 (Superior Equipment: 15)

    This works the same way as it did before. You need to have all slots used up to enhance. When enhancing, it'll show you the success rate, decrease rate, and failure rate. It will also tell you how much mesos it costs.

    Now, star force are needed not just for enhancing your equipment, but to kill Star Force mobs.
    Star Force mobs are regular mobs but their stats are more buffed and give better rewards. In order to hit these Star Force mobs, each map will have a required Star Force shown by a gauge

    You MUST have at least that much star force, in this case, 5, to hit the mobs. Star Force measurement is dependent on how much stars you have currently equipped.

    You can locate Star Force maps easily by seeing the red portal instead of blue


    Or looking in your world map

    As you can see, the area I'm at, there's a star icon. This map is purely star force mobs.

    Do note that the Enhancement System has changed a lot. So to those complaining "wtf now i have to RISK blowing up my equipment to kill star force mobs?!" this isn't the case. The first few stars do not have a curse rate, only success and decrease rate. So you're safe.
