    Spawn system is interesting.

    So I was looking through the XML files of the client for the wiki and I was doing trophies and was digging around for some attributes' meanings
    In MapleStory 1, the data is explicitly written to say "This is which monster will spawn and where."
    In MapleStory 2, it's a little more fluid, plus it contains other information.

    For example, maps will have certain mapcodes written in them. These map codes look like this

        <region mapCode="02000014" spawnPointID="2" difficulty="11" difficultyMin="8" tag="초원, 숲, 나무, 버섯, 슬라임" coolTime="13" population="4" />
    As you can see, it tells the map where to spawn (spawnPointID), the difficulty of the monsters (difficulty), the weakest difficulty that can spawn (difficultyMin) and the tags. The tags here say things such as Forest, Meadow, Slime, Mushroom. This means that if there is any monster from Lv. 8 - 11, tagged "Forest" or "Meadow" etc will spawn in the map. So it necessarily doesn't say "This precise mob will spawn." It gives the map a pool of mobs to spawn.
    Oh, and of course, it says the respawn time (coolTime) and amount to spawn (population)

    Just thought this was something interesting to share. :)

    I love the fact that they made MS2 way more interactive! bosses having different patterns, NPCs with audio and artwork, and all bunch of stuff.

    I was curious about spawn too, good to know!

    Though, I still wonder... there was this gameplay I saw by Spadow, that he's showing the skills of every Class that was released in Alpha, though there are sometimes that he kills mob and then they don't respawn and takes about 10 seconds to find other monsters. Point is, what if you'd like to train to level up fast and you want to kill non-stop like in MS1, I know the map and mob had something to do in that video AND keep in mind is still Alpha but come on... if the spawn is that slow OMG! it's going to be super stressing (so slow) to train.

    Regarding spawn... probably a noob Q but when you die in either random map or boss battle, do you respaw in the nearest city like in MS1?
