One Piece or Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood, both are great.

Well, from the looks of it, you're more into the Mecha sub-genre. I've heard raving reviews of Gurren Lagann, and people seem to like Neon Genesis Evangelion (I watched it, but it wasn't really in my tastes) so I suggest at least looking into those. Code Geass is also a little famous among otakus, which is Death Note (another must-see) mixed with mecha elements.

My personal specialty is School Life-related anime - if you're interested in that sub-genre then I have a lot of suggestions. Otherwise, you may like Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica, which comes off as kiddy in the first episode but turns dark really fast.

A good anime is Katekyō Hitman Reborn! However, I heard the anime ended after a certain arc, but the manga is still ongoing. A lot of good anime isn't released with dubs yet, and I personally prefer subs. Full Metal Alchemist and One Piece are good anime/manga as well. I don't really keep up with anime anymore these days. It's just easier to read manga, plus manga has more options and tends to go longer. Hunter x Hunter is pretty good as well.

Haha, 500+ episodes is a little too much for me. I got to about episode 150 when I decided that the anime was getting a little dull.

Anyways, if you stream: http://www.sky7anime.tv/ or http://www.gogoanime.com/
    If you torrent: http://bakabt.me

i Love LOVED madoka magica, it was like so depressing at like episode 10.

Angel beats or The melancholy of Haruhi suzumiya are like the first two that i ever watched.

Angel Beats was alright, but a bit boring at times. Haruhi is god-tier, except for S2 Endless Eight. Rage...
