    "noob scrub"

I'm the type of player that doesn't scroll, doesn't cube, and doesn't go out of his way to get godly top tier items, but i don't consider myself a noob seeing as how i've been playing about since cygnus knights first came out, and i know just as much about ms as the next guy. BUT, apparently not being level 200 on every single account, and or having godly scrolled and cubed items makes you a noob now. I just hate how now maplestory it about the endless grind, and competition to achieve the best dps. I liked it back when the community was more of a community that looked past the gear, and the levels, and that you could be in a guild, or have friends and just chill together and talk, and still train and have fun. I'm not saying you can't do that now, it's just you don't see as much of it anymore. :T

Look here, a lot of people have the same opinion as you.
Apparently with the times changing, you get people changing too.
Before this the theme of Maplestory was to bring people all over together in one single game and get to know each other.
That's the main point of a MMORPG.
But since then, times have changed when the Enhancement and Potential system was introduced, because people exploited the system to make good equips.
With all that constant competition, you might be viewed as a noob without them.
But if anyone is insulting you, don't give a fuck.
Think to yourself, "This is my character, I do whatever the fuck I want with it."
People call you noob, but you know for sure you aren't one just because you don't have godly gear.
Same with me, I've been playing Maplestory longer than you (before Cygnus) in MSEA but I still can't get my first character to 200.
People call me a noob, but I don't give a fuck.
You should do the same too, just because you're weak doesn't mean you're a noob.

Those people have no idea what they are even saying. Noob originally meant you are new to the game, nothing else. Apparently now everyone is a noob, for absolutely no reason.
Anyways, just remember you're smarter than those who spends thousands of dollars on a game.
