Thread: Sigh, I fucked around to much.

Not really raging but yeah...


Basically got my transcript to pick senior classes today, (yay?). Shit was so stressful because I had to decide classes I 1) could actually get into 2) Be able to maintain a good GPA in that class 3) Can't be an extreme easy class because then colleges will think I fuck around to much. As I got the transcript, I saw previous grades for sophmore and Freshmen year. Oh lord, them shits were disgusting. I fucked around SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much during those 2 years that I basically dugged a hole for myself. I doubt i'll get into any colleges with the grades I had. This year i'm doing "ok" but not great. I don't even know if I push myself to get 90s for the rest of the year that it will even matter.


Ontop of that, got 20 different things rushing through my head. What colleges to pick, will I get into said colleges, What major, do I really know a major i'll pick 100% that I will stay with without switching and wasting my moms money?

Meh, don't stress it. Worse comes to worse, you can go to a private college or community college. Also, just figure out what you want to do and then go to a college for that. I would suggest just focusing on your happiness versus your money.

Think about it this way, if you had a child, would you rather that child be happy or make a lot of money?

Already decided what I want to do sorta, thing is most colleges I have seen don't have it as a major (dance). Also a job like that could be very hard for me to make a living since its a "young job". so many people love to tell me this. =/

If it makes you happy, go for it. As for finding a college, there are a lot of college search engines out there.

Damn, All the classes you mentioned are everything I had on my transcript for senior classes. You are advanced indeed, but yeah in all Good luck to you too but atm I think its too late for me lol.

You know, there are (or should be) great community colleges around your area.
I picked going to this current community college over a Cal State University (Fullerton, if anyone is curious). Why? Their performing arts program is amazing. There's people in my Acting class that turn down a full ride scholarship to Stanford, Yale, etc just to come here.
Point is, if you pick a community college, grades don't matter. Many people don't choose to go a community college because they think it's crap, stupid, not good, etc. When in reality, there are some that spark out from the rest.

So damn true, although the community colleges at my city are just full and so it's like high school met commuter college, which... isn't bad but isn't good. I'm now in a private college that has 250 students, so... maximum class size is 16, but all my classes average to about 5.
